Forbidden Glance

by Courtney Joiner   Jan 17, 2004

As I look into the mirror, I see someone I don't know, this face looking back at me, seems to be so cold. Her eyes are full of sadness, no expression on her face, I can't help but wonder, what has taken place? Oh reflection in the mirror, why this forbidden glance? You used to be so happy when you were giving life a chance. Have you given up on yourself, afraid to open that door? There's so much happiness out there, that and so much more. Don't give up so easily, I know it's easier said then done, but how can you face your fears head on, when all you do is run? Put away the mirror for now, and reach out with all your might, I promise you one day very soon, you will win this fight.
