A Thick Black Crow and A Snow White Swan

by Kogila Kanni   Feb 20, 2006

A thick black crow
And a snow white swan
Met near a fresh green pond
They made good friend and started to rhyme.

Dearest snow white swan,
Shall we have some fun?
Do you know anyone,
By the name of swan?

Crow oh crow,
You thick black crow!
Don't you know,
The snow white glow?
Who swims pretty slow,
With its head high and low?

Aha, I've seen that big white bird,
Is she a bird, I wonder and wonder?
For a bird flies high, as she in a bird,
Never had I seen her up in the air.

Silly black crow,
Your brains are surely slow
A swan doesn't fly, and it did never flew,
It's you who fly, it the sky so blue.
