Life's nonexistant beauty

by *~*shannon*~*xXxXxX Blackened soul   Feb 20, 2006

They say everything is this world has beauty
That everything has a meaning
But where's the beauty in never being free
The meaning in not being able to sing
What's the meaning of war?
Where's the beauty in poverty
What's the point of the law?
When it won't let the truth be
Where's the beauty in abuse
Where's the meaning for those poor kids who get beat
Abuse wont let its prisoners loose
Where's the truth in this feeling of defeat
Having a lot less then you need
Where's the beauty in sickness
Where's the meaning on not having enough money to feed
In liking yourself less and less
Where's the happiness in self-mutilation
In teenage depression
Where's the beauty in with this intimidation
What's the point of all these lessons?
