Love Spree

by Bill Turner   Feb 20, 2006

The hands of time are frozen and blue
As the weekend past by us without a care
Somehow losing track of all time with you
Sunlight through the window with its usual flair
Dawn brought with it a case of morning hair

I see in your eyes the love of the night before
Apparently your heart did not me deceive
Searching I find my clothes piled on the floor
It pains me yet again to have to leave
The sunshine of our love has made me believe

I thought forever was something for another day
Never believing it would be something that would find me
Living my life alone and that would be okay
You touched me, loved me and set my heart free
Wandering this world with you on a passionate love spree

You have opened my eyes to the world around
Allowed me to see, feel and believe in love
Savoring each days visionary sight and mesmerizing sound
Our bodies fitting together like a hand in a glove
Feeling in our soul as if guided by our creator above

Saying goodbye at the door heading into the frozen dawn
Knowing that I just spent the most amazing night
Sleeping very little well rested and without a yawn
Knowing I will find myself with you again tonight
Holding you forever in my arms a lovely sight
