I'll let you see me a little crazy.
I'll let you see me a little shy.
But of all the things I let you see,
I'll never let you see me cry.

Maybe I should open up a little,
show you the side that you don't know.
But I'm afraid that I'd be too vulnerable,
and I can't afford to lose control.

I need to be in control of my life.
I need to hold on to my pride.
I refuse to let you see I can be weak,
so I bury the hurt deep inside.

I won't mind if you don't visit when I'm sick.
It's okay if you leave without saying goodbye.
Just please don't turn around because I'll be watching,
and I don't want you to see me cry.
