Imagining Forever

I cry myself to sleep late at
night,
imagining your arms holding
me tight.
wishing and dreaming about
all the times,
when i was yours and you
were mine.
but now all those times are in
the past,
forever i hoped that they
would last.
but for now we have gone our
separate ways,
hopefully we can find ourselves
back together someday.
if we find ourselves back
together,
i would want to make it
last forever.
