Little Girl x

Surrounded with guilt,
Imprisoned by hate.
The lights are slowly fading,
And the darkness is now my fate.

Gasping for breath,
But I suffocate even more,
What happened to my life?
The life that I used to adore.

A frightened little girl,
Cowering deep inside me,
Screams out to me to run,
She's hoping one day she'll be free.

Free to laugh and run,
To make all her dreams come true,
This little girl cries out to me,
To Try and break my way through.
