Flowers of the Heart

by Mollie   Feb 21, 2006

Tending the beds
Of the seeds you sow
With such care
Of even the routes that grow
Each flower is different
There's no two alike
Yet how can you see them
Even when there's no light
Your heart and your soul
Is poured into these flowers
Growing each one
As if tomorrow will devoir
My passion is different
Yet no less will it come
My fear comes of the knowledge
That I'm not the one
Sow this bed you lay out
And I'll sew mine
Although yours may seem taller
So much wider is thine
Some day I will prove
That you I'll stay true

  • Very good poem... only one question... on the line "Of even the routes that grow"

Did you mean the roots that grow?
