Natural Love

by Bill Turner   Feb 21, 2006

The sun sweeps across the sky
Leaving behind a trail of fire
Burning like the passion in your eye
Filling me with unbridled desire

Pure and flowing as a natural spring
Your kiss quenches my hunger and thirst
My heart beats loud and does sing
Filled with your love, ready to burst

Scent of wild flowers filling the air
A sea of flowering love in the sun
Running my fingers through your hair
Feeling in my heart you are the one

Like an old tree lined country lane
We have been down similar paths before
The past etched into our collective brain
This time we know what is in store

Our love is strong like the willow
Dancing and swaying in the breeze
As I lay my head upon your pillow
It is each other we will please

As the wind of change blows through our life
Changing direction and swirling around my heart
I know deep inside there will be no strife
From each other we will never part

When the sun sets bringing on the night
It is our love that will get us through
In our hearts knowing that the world is right
Feeling it when the other says I love you
