The little girl in a white nightgown....

by Nikki McKay   Feb 21, 2006

A little girl with a white nightgown
sitting in her bed, staring out at the dark
that's outside her window.
The moonlight are sparkling in the snow that's
on the ground and it has to be at least 15 minus outside.

The little girl looking down on her arm,
on the marks that she just made with her knife.
She is disappointed at her self that she couldn't
keep the demons away,
that her wall wasn't strong enough.
She tried to fight them but
once again they were stronger then her.

The little girl wrap a bandage around her wrist
and pull down her nightgown so that no one
can see her secret,
There isn't anyone who would understand the pain
she's going through so why show it?

The little girl take her teddy bear and lay down on the bed,
try to sleep but can't.
She is afraid, she's shaking and the only thing she sees when
she closes her eyes are the demons thats after her.

The little girl hug her teddy bear as hard as she can
and fall a sleep with tears in her eyes.
