One Year Today

It seems like only yesterday,
But in reality, it was one year today
Its been a year since you left us alone
It seems like forever ago, since you were at home
Sitting on the couch, drinking a beer,
It really has been, a hard year,
We all asked why, why hadn't you been hated,
Why couldn't you have been abusive,
we loved you so much, but now you're gone...

One year today, one more year to go,
The first year was hard, the second year will be worse, God please help me and my family.
