Paradise in 4 small words

He told her to close her eyes,
and he sat her on the end of the bed.
She was so excited,
His heart was racing ; a million thoughts running through his head.

He was wondering how he should say it,
All the while her stomach held butterflies.
He told her to open her eyes,
and what she saw was like paradise.

He was holding a little box,
while kneeling on one knee.
She could feel the tears come to her eyes,
as he said "Will you Marry me?"

His heart was pounding,
it was like nothing he knew.
She knew they would be perfect together,
she knew it should be them two.

Her tongue was tied,
she couldn't speak.
He was so nervous,
he could feel his legs getting weak.

She cried "Yes! Yes!,
of course I'll marry you."
He thanked god,
for giving him the truest love he ever knew.

She jumped into his arms when he stood,
What she saw when she looked into his eyes amazed her.
He was crying,
she had never seen him cry ; never had that one emotion stirred.

She never wanted to let go of him.
"I love you" she cried.
He couldn't believe all this,
"I love you too baby" he replied.

At the wedding:

She couldn't believe it was the day,
He loved the way she said her vows in that loving way.
She cried when he said his,
And they're in love and happily married to this day.
