Convincing Myself

I spent the last few years,
convincing my self that you'd never leave my side,
you'd be the guy who never lied,
you'd be the guy holding your hand out to me,
forever death do us part we shall be,

but then one unfortunate day,
i turned around and you went away,
a thousand lies , not one truth to be heard,
my hand left waiting,
my vision a blur,
forever shortened its timing, and took us apart.
and with that there you have it.
you stole my heart.
