When Last I Cried

You were there one day and gone the next.
It's like you disappeared over night.
I suppose in a way that's what happened
since Death snuffed out your life's light.

It all felt so surreal.
I couldn't believe my ears.
I felt robbed of something beautiful.
You only had sixteen years.

I tried not to show my pain,
tried hard to hold it in.
But grief overcame me and tears began to fall,
the only struggle I couldn't win.

It was just last year and my heart's still heavy.
That was the last time I cried.
You are now the memory of a friend before the crash-
the crash where part of me died.

    Hey i m so sorry to know that and u know what last sunday i lost my friend too in a car crash, i can very well go through each word u said.
    i just pray that for the souls to rest in peace
