To be so cruel to you, my friend
Is too cruel for us to share
The thought of being so mean to you
Is the thought I cannot bare

As the days pass and as we pass in the halls
And give that cold look day by day
I think about the friendship we had
And wish it didnt fade away

When we reach a point in our life
Where we have grown apart
I'll always remember every memory
And keep them in my heart

I realize that you probably don't
Want to be my friend any more
But I understand, its alright
I've been there before

Friends through the good times and bad times
Whether were together or apart
