A friendship in the past

A friendship left for dead
so many words unsaid
memories that will be nothing but forgot
all the good times left to rot
promises broken
now no words are spoken
living in dis-pair
my heart hurting cause you never cared
to much time for me to think in the day
wishing and hoping that in time i will be OK
rumors started bout us
that is what made us take back our trust
nothing more for me to do
other than to say goodbye to you
no more late night calls
no more trips to the mall
no more times wishing you were here
no more will i shed a tear
i will never forget you and thats a fact
but one thing i know for sure and that is i will never be back
you broke our promise to be friends forever
i underestimated you, you are clever
i am in pain
but why would you care, you are the one with all the fame
i guess i was a fool
cause the only one that won the game was you
but now our friendship is left in the past
but what hurts the most is that it was supposed to last
