A Candle

by Timothy B   Feb 23, 2006

A candle blown out.
A life disappeared.
Hearts left in pain.
And lives ruined.
Parting with one is always painful.
Saying goodbye never pleasant.
A final goodbye will always.
Bring sorrow and pain to the soul.
But do not stop here.
Do not go and forget her.
Even if her light.
Has vanished from the world.
Keep the part you have.
Lit bright and high.
Deep within your heart.
So that she will forever live.
On the hearts of her loved ones.

I wrote this for all the friends and family of Lindsey. I have never met her, but many of my friends did. Strength to all of you.
