Lust, love and heartache

by Allison   Feb 24, 2006

Trying to stop my emotions from setting in.
But so close to caving in.
rapid moving, never still
pounding head, this is surreal.
In-cased in this moment of loss and despair.
Unable to breathe,
unsure if this life.
Lust, love, and heartache words to life by in the cold and lonely place
broken hearts on the floor beating off pace
Really what is world but a sunken grave?
Where no one can see broken bodies,
until you pass through the gate
What is love but broken hearts and temporary lust?
Just a small moment of company
to fill this broken hull.
Can love really last forever; because forever is a long time.
So here the bodies lay frozen in time.
Lover is each others arms
Children held tight.
But really all that is here is dust and broken bones.
No love is left, or exposed.
