Choices I gave you

Yeah it's true we had our ups and downs.

But I still felt like we could make it work.

But 1 thing led to another and well,
that's where it ended.

I gave you a choice, and what you decided, it caught me off guard.

I wasn't sure of things after that.

I actually thought you would stay with me, but you didn't.

I think about that night sometimes and it makes me wish, that I never gave you those choices.

After losing you, I didn't wanna deal with anymore relationships; and I still haven't.

I just sometimes regret what I did, other times I feel it happened for a reason.

I just would like to know the reason for us ending.
