Don't want to lose you as a friend

It's been a month since i had a real talk with you
i miss those times because you know how to help me through
during Christmas break and now i had a few problems
i didn't have a good way to solve them
it's OK if you moved on and only like me a friend
but i need you until the very end
i don't know what to do with my life
there's been so many times when i wanted to pick up the knife
i thought of you and knew i shouldn't
then i thought again and said i wouldn't
you helped me keep promises that were hard to keep
even when the pain was too deep
i need to keep a friend like you
because with out you I'm always blue
I'm kinda over you now but i still care
and no matter what happens I'll still be here
maybe sometimes things will be like they were before
but i don't really know if i care anymore
all i know talking to you as friends is just fine
because i can say yea he was once mine
but thats not what matters right now
i just need to talk to you but i don't know how
i really need a good friend right now because i don't know what to do
the person for me to talk to is you
so can you please think it over again
because i don't know if i can live with out you as my friend
