My Best Friend

by Ken   Feb 25, 2006

We were the best of friends
you where white I was black
you where a girl I was a boy
you live and grew up with me same age and all

No one could break us apart
even when I would go away soon as
soon as I got back you where
the first so happy to see me

I would stay up all night with you
just us two watch tv playing around
untill you had got sick I got scared
but you smile like you would be ok

Your mom took you to the Dr
the news he gave me hurt so much
he told me you'd die very soon
but still you sat there with a smile

the night after that day I awoke to you
still smiling just looking at me
you put your head on my shoulder
I put my arm around yours

And there we just fell asleep together
I awoke and told you to get up but you didnt
I shuck you and said plz get up
but you didnt I couldnt believe you where gone

I wish every day that you could of stayed
stayed by my side together we'd be
forever and always my best friend
