Rekindled

I watched us fall apart,
We both walked away with a broken heart.
But before the day was done,
We couldn't stand to be undone,
and with a tear in our eyes
we walked up to try to say our final goodbyes,
but ended up falling into each others arms,
We were finally safe from all harms,
I could feel your love again,
there was no more pain,
and everything was coming back together...
