Wings of Innocence

by Mark   Feb 25, 2006

As I saw the angel's eyes
Her wings of innocence flared
The light through her eyes were so bright
I almost couldn't bare
I stared deep into her eyes
I saw pure dreams of endless nights
where angel's soar with eternal might
Then I began to see the truth in her
the pain and suffering casted upon her
This angel's past was just a blur
I wasn't so sure if this truth was real
I needed to know how this angel feels
This angel's heart was broken
and need to be healed
Now I know I must become your protective shield.
This is a fate that I will seal

Awww...this gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside..I wish I was the angel.... I like the way you use words with flare and the imagery was just heavenly (pardon the pun), maybe some use of punctuation?
