Take Me Back

by Jeremy Edmondson   Feb 25, 2006

You said you donâ??t believe in us anymore
The same girl who thought me to believe I could fly
You said what we had was an idea nothing more
The same girl who took me away to a land full of children
You sowed back my shadow
And you took me to a place Iâ??d never been before
Took the second star to the right and headed strait until morning
To a place were adolescent emotions were lacking
But we had the best time anyways
All this of which I am speaking may seem childish and out of character
But I have kept my promise to remain a child for ever
Tâ??is you whom dwells in the world of today without a hope
For I still fly and tink is at my side
Although your sowing job did not hold true
I stop in the world trying to find what is left of you
I forgot my way back to my Neverland
A land where I will Never lose you
A land where I will Never have to be more than a child
A land where I will Never fear the day coming
A land where I will Never have to cry again
A land where I will Never be so argumentive
A land where I will Never think I can control you
Take me back to that land
And times when all that is needed
Is faith, hope, and pixie-dust
So come back with me
Let us take the second star to the right and head strait until the morning
