You told me you loved me
And you said we were meant to be
You held me tight
Every day and night

You showed love and loyalty
Making me feel safe was your specialty
Saying such sweet things
I used to be able to guess what your love brings

But you let me down
And made me frown

You got drunk and high

No matter how bad it hurt

I missed you when you left me
I just couldn't see

But again you crushed me
