Time

Silently I sat slowly, sitting still,
Singing the soft serenade of my quill,
\'Til father time, moving his father\'s hand,
Until upon the number nine it land.

It ticks away at life, passing me by,
It tocks away every tick, low and high,
\"Tick tock\" clicks Clock, being quite coherent,
Foreseeable, hiding what Future\'s meant.

\'Tis immeasurably measurable,
Time, whose fathoms are unfathomable,
Defined \"definitely indefinite,\"
