The lie about it all

I see your suffering text.

And hear you broken voice.

I could never tell what's next.

I pray that it isn't a deathly choice.

But I cant seem to be there.

Because the space seems far away.

It seems I can only care.

And not be there today.

But thats not good enough for me.

When I know we share a pain.

That pain that set them both so free.

I just know your sleeves carry the same stain.

From tears and running makeup.

The ones that almost seem fake.

That we blame on the latest breakup.

And claim there is no ache.

It seems so hard to tell.

So hard to see the truth.

That truth is living hell.

And that its waisted on the youth.

And though im hurt they're gone.

I hurt here without you.

That seems to make it long.

And feel like theres nothign I can do.
