Knotted soul

by Iola   Feb 26, 2006

Left is right, and right is wrong.
Let me be, don’t steal my song.
See my anger, touch my frown.
Hiding my laughter – up and down.

Today is forever – forever’s too short.
Filled with joy, but eternally bored.
You are my soul, a pin in my skin.
I am your dream, your hope deep within.

Clouds bring shadows, but shadows show sun.
We are individuals who strive to be One.
I’m a thousand peaces; I’m here but not at all.
Untie my soul; I want to bear it all.
