Play Your Game

by Danielle   Feb 27, 2006

If I blind myself of your actions,
Open my ears to find your drunken words
And pretend you're worth it
Will you then acknowledge my existence?

Keep feeding me your used excuses
And tear me out of my place
Hit me harder and leave my heart with bruises
Sweet talk me and lie to my face

I don't know what you're up to
But maybe I'd like to be used by you
Fake your feelings and make my one fear disappear
Truthful deceit, tears only in my eyes
Take control of me I believe your lies

You decide my own happiness
My sadness is in your hands
Your voice says how much you fell
And you are now given a fair choice
Tell me how much do you really care

Stomp on my feet and hold my hand
Someday you will understand
There's always pain, always pain
When you play your game, play your game
