Deep In My Soul

by Meaghan   Feb 27, 2006

I can feel you when I'm sleeping and see you when I dream.
Is this feeling real?
It seems too euphoric to be true.
I can feel you with me always.
Deep in my soul I carry you with me.
You are so important to me.
Like air in the atmosphere, I breath you in.
All of you, your smile, eyes, lips, your smooth voice.
It all washes over me and I feel alive.
Like a addiction, I need your love.
I need your hands on my skin.
I'm an addict begging for your body.
It makes my temperature elevated all over.
It's a warm breeze in this cold world I live in.
When you gaze at me with those beautiful blue eyes of yours, I feel like my bodies on fire.
I can hear you sometimes, even though you're not around.
I wait out the minutes till you approach my door.
The clock knows our secret.
And it's one I can't hid anymore.
I want to spend eternity with you.
Loving you completely.
Would you let me?
I would marry you.
I'm just scared to tell you that.
Would you run if I said these things out loud?
One day I will be found.
But until then I am conquered by you.

I believe it was nicely written, and disagree with Doug, because the poem just traps you right up until the end, very nice.
