Heavenly broken

Everyday i sit here alone,
Everyday I sit here waiting,
Everyday i try to find some hope,
Coz i'm sick of all the hating.

Almost given up on waiting,
Almost given up on you,
Almost out that door,
But i'm torn, what do I do?

Remembering all those hugs,
Remembering all the laughter,
Remembering my prince charming,
Yet without a happily ever after.

Lost without your smile,
Lost without you there,
Lost without your love,
And you dont even care.

Trying to pick up the pieces,
Trying to start fresh again,
Trying to focus on living,
And ignore all my pain.

Seeing past the heart break,
Seeing i'm not really in a rut,
Seeing all the beauty,
But with my eyes wide shut.

Dreaming of a reunion,
Dreaming of one last kiss,
Dreaming I find a genie,
To give me just one wish.

Outside i'm so happy,
Outside i'm full of light,
Outside i'm not even me,
Coz inside i've no will to fight.

Feels like i'm drowning,
Feels like i'm in despair,
Feels like youre my carpenter,
But my heart you can't repair.

You used to say you loved me,
That my poems were my heart spoken,
You used to say i was your angel,
So i guess that makes me heavenly broken.
