Changes

He watches her carefully,
How her skin glows in the light,
He watches her impact everyones lives,
How her smile shines through oh so bright.

He watches her twinkling eyes,
They watch him back at times,
He watched how she moves her body,
And says; 'I wish she was mine.'

He touches her soft arm,
And pulls her into his embrace,
He touches her beautiful body,
And moves with her, full of grace.

He touches her warm hands,
And walks so proudly with her,
He touches her lips with his,
And gets so hot like a fever.

She watches him walking away,
With his friends by his side,
She watches him smile at her,
And fails every time shell try.

She watches him from the shadows,
His light never reaching her,
She watches him flirt with her friends,
And anger inside does stir.

She touches his soft cheek,
But he just turns his face,
She touches his hand,
But theres just empty space.
She touches his waist,
Tries to pull him back,
She touches his chest,
But he taps her away SMACK.

She looks at all their pictures,
The times when they were in love,
She looks at the old messages,
Of when he chose her, push came to shove.

She cries alone at night,
Still waiting for his call,
She dies slowly inside,
As he watches her fall.

She wipes away her mascara,
And tries so hard to be strong.
She looks into the mirror,
And asks, What did I do wrong?
