The silent tears from my eyes
For them I was like frozen
Trying to fight the real feelings
Showing them off Im strong

I was once longing for you
But they say just keep on holding on
For you and dad will be there soon
Until I realized u were only fooling me.

Day by day I was having pain
Somehow I liked it coz thats how much I love them
They maybe forget bout me
But as your ever-loving daughter, I will always be.

Havent had I tried the best that I could be
Standing so frail yet I manage to live
Scars all over that weaken my essence
When are you going to like me mom.

    Reminds me of my adopted mom, except without the factor of any emotions. <3 Love the way you understand me, Myryn. And I really like this poem, too. The ego bruises deeper than the flesh.
