The Line Of Passion And Pain

by Anthony   Feb 27, 2006

The line of passion and pain,
Seems invisible to the eye.
But when you cross you know,
It brings up tears you tried to hide.

You pushed me on that line,
Straight from passion into pain.
My best friend in the world,
The one who turned my sun to rain.

You only kept me around,
Just to keep me on the side.
While you and she flirted,
And planned to be his bride.

For A year I gave you love,
I gave you my whole heart.
then you let him in,
And you both ripped it apart.

You dismissed all my feelings,
Like they never mattered at all.
Then acted like it was my fault that I couldn't stand tall.

To ask for all my things back,
Would be too low to go.
But here is all your crap back,
It only makes pain grow.

You said our friendship died,
That I gave it the last shove.
I'm sorry you're mistaken,
You hold the bloody glove.

You both can fight over your Cuban,
Let your passions set you free.
But when he leaves you broken,
Don't come crying back to me.

Treasure your time with him,
It'll be over in a snap.
So go ahead and groom him,
With your heads all in his lap.

This is just my warning.
I wanted you to see.
He's not all that he seems.
He'll do you like you did me...

    "You dismissed all my feelings,
Like they never mattered at all.
Then acted like it was my fault that I couldn't stand tall."

The last line was long, I think you meant to cut it off so you'll have four lines all together.

The poem itself was very good.

Oh and for the record, I made -him- cry.
