Can You Hear What I Hear?

"Can You Hear What I Hear?"

by Amber Moonstone 2/27/06

I hear the birds, the crickets,
the sounds of the forest.

It is like music to my soul,
every time I visit that sacred place.

I am walking along a path,
A path of natural sounds, and vibrations.

I am filled with amazing and rejuvenating
energy that pulses through my body.

It is so stimulating to become one with nature,
that raw, back to your roots sensation.

I am down, down with the magnificent
beauty that I behold.

Beats of drums in the distance,
distract me for just a bit.

I shall become accustomed to this sound,
for all vibrations are abound.

The vibrations of the earth, the insects,
the trees, the leaves, the stones,
all in connection with each other.

I can see the brook,
an ever flowing body of water,
nurturing the earth, the birds
and all living creatures.

The wind is present, blowing its healing energy
in my face and on my body.

It is an invigorating wind today,
very brisk, cold and blowing with force.

It is almost as if it is awaiting a chance
to give me a wind bath!

I can hear nature's vibrations calling out to me,
Can You hear what I hear?

Author's Notes: To be one with nature, to be free to think and feel the way that nature calls out to you. To hear those ever present sounds of soothing vibrations.

Peace, love and light,
Amber Moonstone

In my opinion your poem lacks character, its a bunch of old saying strung together, you need to be able to hold the readers attention and you failed to do that although you have ability to do much better.
