A Simply Complicated Wish

by Anthony   Feb 27, 2006

I wish we could go back
Back to the place we used to be.
Instead of where we are,
The place where you don't talk to me.

The sun is going down,
And it will never rise again.
The sun only rises in that place,
Where you were still my friend.

Unforgiven words of anger.
Heartbreaking words you used to leave.
I'm trying to tell you,
But it's hard for me to breathe.

I wish I could tell you,
How much I love you,
I know you once loved me,
I wish we could start anew.

All the secrets you shared,
Will stay locked away.
Bit you will not forgive me.
You've said all you need to say.

I wish the sun would rise again.
You wish it would stay down.
But my heart has also been breaking.
It just hasn't made a sound.

Since when have crushes mattered,
Over years of precious time?
Since when has being angry,
Benn such an outlawed crime.

We both made mistakes,
Some where we could not be strong.
The only difference is that
You won't admit where you were wrong.

I wish we could make up.
And overcome and accomplish.
But I guess you cannot grant
My simply complicated wish.

You are so... It's a good poem, but you expect whats never happening in life ever again. Live with it.
