Tender, Sweet Gentle Man

"Tender, Sweet Gentle Man"

by Amber Moonstone 2/13/06

Such a gentle man as yourself,
you seem to radiate warmth,
keeping a fire burning with a
luminous light that shines within.

You are that light,
that is part of the universe;
The ignition to a brilliant evening sky,
with so many twinkling sparks
that emanate from your soul.

God is working through you,
he is guiding your every movement;
he is following your baby steps,
picking you up when you need a lift,
holding your hand when you are lost
and always loving you, especially
when you are alone.

You can move mountains if you wish,
You can fly continents if you desire,
but most of all, You can love
without being selfish, or demanding.

You are a true gentle man,
a man that is forever loved by his God
and his Lady!

Author's Notes: A poem inspired by another author, Neruda, and my wonderful gentle man, Marc. It is fitting that I was inspired to write this on the eve of Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day has been a holiday that I have always dreaded, never having a "true" valentine, but this year I am blessed to have my "sweetie". Thank you god/goddess for blessing me with my gentle man.

Peace, light and Valentine's Love,
Amber Moonstone
