We are influenced to be who we are not,
Put on make-up, do our hair;
Look our best like people care.
If for once I could go back,
To a time where people do not act;
Where kids have fun and run around,
And acting "trash" was never found.
When kids respected others more,
Not talk back, do their best;
Teachers, parents do the rest.
Remember the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover,"
It's the same with every other.
I can only be a voice,
Only you can make the choice.
