You can't run far enough...

by BK Butterfly   Feb 27, 2006

You can't run far enough,
to be able to hide from destiny!
You can't run fast enough,
to escape life's reality!

Live life to the fullest,
no matter what your time will come!
Love people to the deepest,
feelings stay even once you're gone!

I like to believe you became a butterfly,
that now you're with God in the sky.
I like to believe you're somewhere better,
to reassure myself of what will inevitably come later

Live, love, hurt, die...
it takes two people to give you a life
but it's alone that in your grave you lie.
and nothing takes away our strife!

You were old, you were tired, you were sick,
but still I can see God's little trick,
so superior, powerful and almighty,
He allowed us only a tiny taste of his eternity!

it is alot that you will be missed,
on earth you have left your footprints!
Grand-ma God made your pains cease,
May your soul rest in peace.
