Prince Charming

Prince Charming was a dream
A wish that would not come true
But one day my aspiration appeared
Leading me to you

Lost in a haze
Of bewilderment and awe
Magic embodied my heart
Your brown eyes is what I saw

You held my hand so gently
And kissed my finger tips so dear
You said I was so beautiful
I almost shed a tear

You brushed my hair from my face
And stared into my eyes
You placed your mark on my lips
As we looked up at the skies

You said you were the luckiest guy,
So I’d have to be the luckiest girl
Trapped in enchantment
Enraptured in your world

The heavens revealed
When you asked me to dance
Twirling me on stars
This is my one chance

Holding me close
You smiled that sappy smile
I filtered through your hair
Hoping this will last a while

Hand within hand
Heart within heart
This feeling I have
I never want to part

Is this vision true?
It’s so alarming
I may have a chance
With Prince Charming
