That's what happens

by Heather   Feb 28, 2006

He pled guilty to the charges
the court room roared with chears
before they led him from the room
his youngest son said
"I hope they kill you...then you'll go to hell."
The man look one last time at each his kids
then he slowly walked
through the door which he was lead

they put him in a cell all by himself
at lunch he sat alone and wrote to his kids

each week he got the letter back in which he had sent
yet he kept sending them to each his 3 kids

20 years later the warden smiled at him
you've got a visitor is all he said
as they lead him to a private room he stopped to stare
out side the window was a happy pair
finally he walked in to the room

there stood his children
each eyes red
the youngest stepped forward and bowed his head
"daddy we have missed you and we know that know you killed mommy to end her pain as would each of us. we know we've been at a loss cause of all the years but daddy we all cried our share the tears"
