Taunting Faces-aging inside

by LadyPearl   Feb 28, 2006

Inquisitive eyes behind my back
Filthy rumors spread of my past
Haunted by your taunting face
over again, an unending phase

Do not fill your words in pity
For I know you feel no sympathy
Your prudence burns inside my mind
And impelling memories left to remind
How I hated to live in this body of mine
Aging quickly through the likes of time
The peevish thoughts of younger days
And how sadness suddenly led me astray

My life tormented to conspiracy
My own world, a darkened legacy
Enclosed by the desiring fires
which enslaves me in deniles

Where is the thy contentment
Where is the ancient enchantment
I've lost the purpose to live my life
The only reason for me to survive
The years of empytiness consumes me
Now it clarifies my life in reality
How I can't escape from mental decay
The light of my soul, fades silently away

Simple format, but you make good use of it with more powerful words, therefore more powerful rhymes. ^_^

    Good job,
