Once upon an emerald garden i stood
Poised ready to take the challenge you posed....
Love but a word till you came into the picture......
Taking your hand we walked together in silence, both to caught up in the beauty of Emerald garden.
months flew by and we were still happy, holding the moments we spent together in our hearts.
Then suddenly you changed...
never could i imagine you would become this monster
Beaten and raped mutilated and scraped
how i survived was a mystery to everyone but me....
I was found beaten and raped while tied to a tree...
Humiliated and scared......
A cried and screamed while they pulled the glass from my half healed back....
I went back to school
Twas a nightmare i shall never forget.
Days went by and months more..
And a began to return to the creature everyone once adored
This mask i wear is slipping
The plaster is not hiding the cracks
Below the surface of my mask is something i never want to see,
because below that mask is what i used to be....
