As i was laying on the grass
I found myself thinking about my past.
To back in the day when i first moved in
and little games that we would win.
From playing tag to relaxing in the shade
Thing were suppose to go this way.
We had our fights and lovable times
And playing together wasn't a crime
As we got older we seemed to drift
And when i was down my smile you always lift.
Playing games and basketball to
We always seemed to have something to do.
But since you moved i haven't seen you much
And i never got to tell you that for you i had a crush.
But it makes me sad that we don't even talk
No longer around the blocks can we walk
No longer does my crush live near me
But why did you have to move away and leave
I remember when you left and i had tears in my eyes
those tear were for you that i cried.
Your still apart in my life in a way
because there's still times i think about you during the days.
But thank you for everything, for beginning my friend
