Daddy

by brittany   Mar 1, 2006

I know you could'nt get along with her,
and neither could I.
But when you were both mad,
It made me want to die.

I was the oldest,
Now I'm in the middle.
Do you ever miss our old life?
Even just a little?

Now you have her,
and two other kids.
But did you forget about us?
Daddy it's you that we miss.

We all three want you back,
To have you for ourselves.
You can't just put us away,
On some empty shelf.

We miss the old you,
The daddy that never got mad.
Now we have no time together.
Doesn't this make you sad?

We're not asking for much,
Just this one little thing.
We want our daddy back,
The love you used to bring.

We miss everything about you,
Your love, your laughs, your time.
Do you ever think about this?
Because it never leaves my mind.

Do you think things could ever go back to normal?
The way they used to be?
If we could have just one day,
Maybe you could see.

See how much we miss you,
And need you everyday.
We love you, miss you, and need you daddy.
This is all I have to say.
