Maine maangi ek dua

Gira aasmaan se ek sitara toh,
socha khuda se usse maang lun
par jab dekha uski ankhon me chehra kisi aur ka...
toh socha ussi khuda se
uske liye uska pyaar maang lu...

dua maang ke jab ankh khuli
poocha usne maine kya maanga?
jhoothi muskaan lake labo pe bas
kaha-shayad kuch
acha hi maanga hoga...
meri ankhon me kuch aansun the jab usne kaha-
'tumhara yeh khwaab zaroor purra hoga....'
