The monster I hide

Deep inside is something dangerous

let me in and sooth it

your gentle kiss makes it roar

it is something i cant ignore

be gentle and let it be soothed by your sweet intentions

trust, lie, believe in you

let it all come unglued

see the monster i really am

don't shrink away in fear

but embrace my darkest tears

cradle my inner child and make me whole again

so many people don't know who i really am

only what I want them to see

i have a very kind soul but underneath it all is something daring
