Something is wrong with this universe
People's positions and responsibilities have been reversed
It seems like it's no longer the parent's job to care for their child
They don't punish them then they become wild
Parents get angry at their child acting out in the classroom
But who knew this time they had come to their final doom
The violence they bring gets out of hand
The use to be so tight, now their no longer a band
But they only hurt them where the clothes will cover their scars
The instruments they use are awful like pipes and bars
Sometimes they burn them to relieve their own stress
But when their child gets taken away from them they won't confess
The police get a warrant and search through their house
But they find so much more than a little mouse
The police find photos of how they abused their kid
They can't believe it and are disgusted at what the parents did
So they arrested them and throw them in jail
They'll never hurt their child again, not even with a fingernail
They won't have the right to look them in the face
But they didn't know that this would happen in a fast pace
But their child is scarred for life because of their crime
If only someone could have saved them in time
Their lives might have gone without these painful emotions
Who knows how they will continue on with these notions
