Scattered-hope

by chrissi   Mar 1, 2006

Although the twisted road may lead back home
the paths leading off
may cause confusion and stress
force us look around, search for answers
questions, troubled moments
&as you journey through those times
you look for someone to carry you on
hold your hand and talk with you during the rough times
you get over the bumps, although bruises are left; scars remain, and the memories walk alongside
the music of laughter follows like a cloud up above,
broken moments become mended and are whole; once again as if untouched
and through thick eyelashes you see the world in a new passion
fresh potential is set out along side glass bottles of milk, waiting for the milk man
if spilled maybe it can be shared.. so baby lets talk
lets take that final spin that never, ever ends
and when its all said and done we wont be looking back
wishing for more
reaching out for something new.
we'll have it all
right before our eyes
in the palm of your hand, at the toe of your bed
maybe we'll find hope;together
maybe just a glimmer
and baby, you'll find it all
all that needs to be found.. uncovered, set free, be known
there isn't a point to stay seated
lets spin
and walk beyond; and find that little glimpse of hope hidden to be found
