As the shadowed moon descended,
She knew her journey would finally be ended..
Ashamed of the life she had once called her own,
Her only desire to wither had grown..
Unheard, not a soul would recognize her cries of fear
Unseen, this girl could easily disappear
Abandoned once again, she was left to dissolve..
Nothing was left to establish, nor to resolve
Buried deep in this tomb of constant destruction,
To herself, she no longer felt a connection..
She found herself thinking of her past
Hoping these memories could be her last..
Sinking in this blackened sea of death,
She took her last and final breath..
She began feeling the detachment of her soul
As her frail body continued to collapse into the endless hole..
This girl's unbearable pain had eventually come to an end
None of these pieces were easy to mend..
Her soul would at last be free,
Just as she was supposed to be...
